A: Yes, the basement continues on under the whole first floor but it is not finished area. The only finished/heated part is what you see on the lower level floor plan. The ceiling height of the great room and kitchen are both 9’. The 14x17 dimension for the master bedroom does not include the closet and master bath.
A: This plan does have a full basement but only 125 square feet of finished/heated square footage. The actual basement floor plan follows the outline of the home/main level. The square footage for the unfinished portion of the basement is 2,182.
A: No, this plan is design to be more of a warm weather retreat than a year-round home. However, it could be altered to have the necessary insulation.
A: Yes, it calls for doubling up and nailing together the 2x8 rafters.
A: The roof framing is 2-2x8x22’6” long rafters, 48” o.c. spacing at a 12/24 pitch (12” run for every 24” rise).
