A: Hello, We do not have a basement version of this plan, but we can create one for you. The basement would be the same size and shape as the heated and cooled portion of the main floor, plus the storage room to make a rectangle shaped basement. No basement under the porches or garage. Would you need a walkout basement with doors and windows across the rear, or a daylight type basement mostly below grade with a few high windows, and possibly an exterior cellar door, or stairs and a concrete bulkhead going down the side to a door? Basement would usually have 9' exterior walls, but it could be 8' high if you prefer? Basement stairs can go down under the existing stairs, and then a new pantry cabinet added on the rear wall of kitchen beside the refrigerator, or on the front wall of kitchen if you prefer to move the range to the rear wall. If you need the walkout type basement, the cost to modify the plans as described would be $350 in addition to the plan package. Allow 2 weeks or less. If you prefer the standard daylight type basement, the cost would be $250 in addition to the plan package. We do not have a basement version materials list available, but we can provide you with the existing list, and the builder would only need to estimate the materials for the foundation portion. So there is no need to purchase the materials list option. Thanks.
