Home-Cost.com’s INSTANT™ Cost-To-Build Report also provides you these added features and capabilities:
A: Good afternoon, We use Autocad 2024 and save the .dwg files down to Autocad 2013. Autocad and Revit are both made by Autodesk and are compatible.
A: We don’t show walls because it is a “in-ground future” basement. We do show beams and columns for support.
A: We have an attic access door at the bonus room. The windows at the front in the gables are located in the attic and are only for aesthetics. The Foyer and Great Room are 10’ flat ceilings. It is possible to raise just the Foyer ceiling so that the windows above the front door will shine in. It is also possible to vault the Great Room, but the fireplace would need to be recentered, so it aligns with the vault. This would make one built-in smaller than the other. If they want to proceed with these changes, please send them to a third party modifier.
A: Our typical plans include the following but note the 1/4” scale may vary depending on the size of the plan since we only use one size paper (36”x24”). 1/4? scale floor plan which includes window & door schedules. Our floor plans are very detailed. 1/4” scale Electrical layout which includes much detail such as: Recessed lights, fan/lights, switches, outlets, cable tv & telephone locations, exterior flood light locations, weather proof outlets, heat/vent/light locations…etc. 1/4? scale front and rear and side elevations. 1/4” scale foundation plans which do include floor & ceiling framing member specifications 1/2” scale typical wall sections and all foundation section details. Roof plans (aerial view) are provided with every package. This will show all roof slopes and a roof framing detail. Miscellaneous details as needed per house plan. Kitchen/ bath cabinet elevations are provided. We only provide the HVAC/plumbing for our locals (La, MS, or TX).
A: See attached for the stair location and the basement has 14” floor trusses.
View Attached FileA: We do not provide all door details prior to purchase. I can only share the typical: bedroom entry doors are at least 32” wide, openings at the main living area such as halls are at least 36” wide, other doors vary. The bathrooms are not ADA compliant. That would require additional footage and a third-party modifier to adjust the plans.
A: The basement does match the footprint of the living area on the main floor. The basement is drawn as an unfinished space. We only have walls at the stairs and to support the structure. If you need walls at that level, you will need to meet with your contractor. Thanks and have a great day!
