Plan Description
Mountain Style House Plan With Outdoor Kitchen
Mountain Style House Plan 41456 has 2,326 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. Buyers will be impressed with the contemporary look of moody dark gray paint and both vertical and horizontal siding. Rustic mountain style is achieved with honey-colored wooden board and batten shutters which match the heavy porch columns. The roof is a combination of shingles and shiny black metal above the front covered porch.
Mountain Style House Plan With 4 Bedrooms
Mountain Style House Plan 41456 is great for a big family. Firstly, the home offers 4 bedrooms with a split floor plan. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 are located on the right side of the home. The kids share a full bathroom with two vanities and combination tub/shower. Mom and Dad share the master suite which measures 14' wide by 16' deep, and it has a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom has a freestanding tub, separate shower, his and her vanities, and two walk-in closets. Best of all, one master walk-in closet is connected to the laundry room.
Secondly, this design offers two very spacious covered porches. The front porch is about 29' wide by 8' deep, and it makes a great place to sit back and watch the neighbors go by. When it comes to entertaining, bring your guests to the rear covered porch and prepare a sumptuous meal with the help of your outdoor kitchen. This porch has more than enough room for outdoor seating and dining. Thirdly, organization is easy because there is lots of storage. For example, the garage has a dedicated storage room which measures 14'6 wide by 5' deep.
Bonus Game Room + Open Living Space
Mountain Style House Plan 41456 has several great features, and a bonus room is one of them. The bonus room, or game room, is located upstairs, and it's a great place to set up a pool table or a theater room. Finish the space during initial construction, or finish it later. Either way, the bonus 602 square feet is a great selling-point for the property. Next, notice the mud room. Keep your family organized with the bench drop zone right by the garage entrance. Leave shoes, book bags, and coats there to prevent clutter from entering the rest of the home.
Speaking of the rest of the home, this one has a great open floor plan. The great room is anchored by a gas fireplace. Cozy up on your big soft couch for family movie night. Your microwave is not far away when you want to refill the popcorn bowl. The kitchen boasts a large island with seating for 4 people. Extra seating expands into the dining room with its fancy tray ceiling.

Q & A
Ask the Designer any question you may have. NOTE: If you have a plan modification question, please click on the Plan Modifications tab above.
Previous Q & A
Q:Will the basement option show walls and beams to show the support of the main level?
A:We don’t show walls because it is a “in-ground future” basement. We do show beams and columns for support.
Q:Is their attic access given there is two windows on either gable ? There is a foyer window as well is that a vaulted entrance? Can the family room be vaulted ?
A:We have an attic access door at the bonus room. The windows at the front in the gables are located in the attic and are only for aesthetics. The Foyer and Great Room are 10’ flat ceilings. It is possible to raise just the Foyer ceiling so that the windows above the front door will shine in. It is also possible to vault the Great Room, but the fireplace would need to be recentered, so it aligns with the vault. This would make one built-in smaller than the other. If they want to proceed with these changes, please send them to a third party modifier.
Q:FOR ALL YOUR PLANS NEED TO KNOW IF YOU PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING - SHEAR WALLS DIAGRAM -FOUNDATION PLANS /SLAB OR CRAWL SPACE -FRAMING PLAN -CELING FRAMING PLAN ROOF PLAN ELECTRICLA AND PLUMBING PAGES
A:Our typical plans include the following but note the 1/4” scale may vary depending on the size of the plan since we only use one size paper (36”x24”).
1/4? scale floor plan which includes window & door schedules. Our floor plans are very detailed.
1/4” scale Electrical layout which includes much detail such as: Recessed lights, fan/lights, switches, outlets, cable tv & telephone locations, exterior flood light locations, weather proof outlets, heat/vent/light locations…etc.
1/4? scale front and rear and side elevations.
1/4” scale foundation plans which do include floor & ceiling framing member specifications
1/2” scale typical wall sections and all foundation section details.
Roof plans (aerial view) are provided with every package. This will show all roof slopes and a roof framing detail.
Miscellaneous details as needed per house plan.
Kitchen/ bath cabinet elevations are provided.
We only provide the HVAC/plumbing for our locals (La, MS, or TX).
Q:I am interested in this plan with a basement. Can you tell me where the stairs would be on this plan for the basement? Is this designed for 2x10 floor joists?
A:See attached for the stair location and the basement has 14” floor trusses.
Q:What size interior doors are planned for this home? Does this home come with ADA compliant standards?
A:We do not provide all door details prior to purchase. I can only share the typical: bedroom entry doors are at least 32” wide, openings at the main living area such as halls are at least 36” wide, other doors vary.
The bathrooms are not ADA compliant. That would require additional footage and a third-party modifier to adjust the plans.
Q:Will the basement mirror the outside dimensions of the living space? Will there be any walls dividing up the basement?
A:The basement does match the footprint of the living area on the main floor.
The basement is drawn as an unfinished space. We only have walls at the stairs and to support the structure.
If you need walls at that level, you will need to meet with your contractor.
Thanks and have a great day!
Q:Do you have a sample plan that I can view? Even if it's a much smaller house?
A:We do not
