Q: What year and code does this plan meet? We need IRC 2022.
A: This house plan was drawn in 2020 so it meets the 2018IRC. Nothing changed in the 2021IRC that really affects the plans we supply. It was mostly changes in electrical and plumbing. There is not a 2022IRC BTW as it is updated every 3 years.
Q: Is there useable attic space?
A: Unfortunately there is no attic space in this house plan.
Q: Can you please advise as to what is the cost to purchase a plan for unlimited builds?
Looking specifically at this plan and "previously asked questions", it states $900.00, is that correct?
A: The multi-use license is $900, but you would also need to purchase the plan.
Q: I was most interesting in seeing where the furnace and water heater were located. Is this in the garage? I apologize the text is blurry so I may have missed this notation.
A: Hello, Here is the answer I received from one of our drafters- Typically the water heater goes out in the garage and the furnace ends up in the rafters/trusses. Have to make an attic access in one of the bedrooms. Hope this helps!
