Q:What type of trusses are required in this design for the span of the shed style roof? Does this design call for stucco or plaster exterior walls on the lower level? If so, can any other type of siding be substituted at build time without redesign?,
A:Trusses are typically designed by the supplier as part of their service for selling them to you. It would be a basic 2x4 truss. The roof could also be sticked framed, which is how it is shown. If trussed, as above, the supplier designs that.
You can easily spec whatever siding type you want. The design doesn’t change, just the material selection. I have it shown as cement board panels. You could use “real” stucco.. siding, cedar shingles etc.
