Q: Hello. I am looking to get a copy of your plans but I need to have 2x6 walls, and plans reversed. Wondering what the turn around time is for this? Is a four foot frost wall and a crawl space the same thing? If not i will just use included slab and have someone local make me a plan for foundation.
A: Additional options of 2x6 and reverse would take approximately 3-5 business days to fulfill. I'm not entirely familiar with a "frost wall" foundation, but it sounds like it would be similar to a chainwall slab foundation, which is what this plan includes. Your builder could likely make any necessary adjustments on site to conform with your local requirements.
Q: What type of crawlspace is the foundation plan? Pier & Beam or Block & Base? We are looking to build pier & beam. Thank you.
A: Crawlspace foundation is a pier and beam.....solid perimeter chain wall with vents and interior block piers.
